such a beautiful mess...

tonight's post is random...but enjoy...random is good!

so at church a few weeks ago we sang this awesome song and well i kind of forgot about it, but today it has been on my heart...so i thought i would share...i youtubed it. its "he loves us" by john mcmillan. if you have a chance, go over to youtube and listen to the full length "the call nashville john mark mcmillan." it gives the full background on where the song came from and is pretty emotional...for now here is a short blurb about it...his youth director was killed in an accident so after his death they decided that there was going to be a revolution for the youth to be called for Christ. he became youth minister and after three years had met some awesome youth but had not seen a huge impact...so he cried out to God about how it had been three years and nothing had come from his friend's death. This song poured from his prayer...beautiful...he says for him it is not a worship song but a song to honor his friend. well, for me, it is a worship song...listen to the words...read the words...worship...it will definitely restore your soul.

enjoy....

ok so then i was playing on youtube trying to find the best version and came across this next video which is soooo amazing. i had seen it before but it just blesses my heart and touches me soooo deeply each time i see it...so i hope you enjoy. the background song is "how he loves us" so i put it after my original video so you can focus on one thing at a time....

enjoy and be blessed!

we are God's mess...but in His eyes we are nothing but a beautiful display of love...a beautiful mess!

love you all and will update you all on my life soon...

p.s....there are a ton more of thes "cardboard testimonies." go check them out if you are bored...they are seriously inspiring and a true testimony that God never leaves us or fails us....
