art, cars, and potties...

well it has been a few days since my last post so i thought i would get on and just write a little something. i really don't have much to write about...my life has been pretty uneventful in the past few days which is just perfect for me...i enjoy uneventful days sometimes. oh i have been researching some ways to sell my paintings in my hometown and around houston. i am going to be talking with my sister in law this weekend to get her input and her help...she is way more money minded and business minded than i am...my thought is oh i will just paint and someone will buy it for some price...hahaha not so much business minded. so, stay tuned for more info...if you are interested, i have painted canvases for my nieces with writing (bible verses/names/growth chart)...i want to venture outside of this but right now it seems i am doing kid stuff so...if you have kids and you need some artwork for their room, let me know. i will try to post pics of some of the things i have painted for friends and my nieces as soon as i get some pics...
oh and my roommate purchased a car/svu yesterday! yay april! it is a gold subaru forester fully loaded. she got a great deal on it and traded her car in! i am very proud of her first adult purchase! she did great in handling all the info and researching all of her options! in case you want to see what a subaru forester looks like...here you go...

so, yeah that is my life thus far...God is still working on my heart with my anxiety. i am praying diligently that He removes this part of me so i can be back to "normal" but whatever is His will, i am willing to follow. so, pray for me to have peace in my life and to have the strength to just overcome this.

oh and funny story...my sis in law calls me and we are talking and she says "oh did i tell you about ada grace's teacher told me like a month ago." i say no and so she starts the story...she goes to pick ada grace up and asks the teacher when she needs to bring more pull ups. the teacher says, "oh we have plenty...like ten." courtney says oh well i will bring more, that is not enough. the teacher replies "yes it is. we rarely have to change ada grace." courtney, astonished says, "what?" the teacher says yeah we just tell her to go potty and she goes...she is rarely wet. hahaha so, courtney is laughing because see they have been trying to potty train at home for a long time and ada grace refuses to go potty...she in fact goes quite often in her pull ups and big girl panties. so...i say...hmmm sounds like someone is being played by a two year old and laugh....so, that is the funny story...the child has been dry and going at school for a while but continues to refuse at home. makes me laugh...so the princess is winning for now but i am figuring that soon her mama will get the best of her! princess 1, mama 0! hahaha
