A few weeks ago, an old friend of mine posted on her status to pray for a little girl named abby and gave a blog site with information on what her story was. so, i followed the link and in these weeks following have committed to praying daily for this beautiful little girl. you see, she has cancer and because of a genetic disorder is prone to increased infections and increased risk of relapse...right now, she is going through chemo but it is on hold due to some other medical issues that have come about...but in all of this, her family and her give thanks...how incredible is that. (p.s...go to their site to get better info on her...this is just a little blurb and may not be incredibly accurate...) so, as i do daily to find out what their specific prayer needs are, i went to their blog site and what do you know...today is laughter lives tuesday! they are asking that everyone post funny pictures with the story of the pics on their blogs or websites...so this is to make little abby smile...to give her some relief and to give all of you a little giggle...hope you all enjoy! oh and please go check out abby's site...the link is above and i promise, you will learn something about yourself and about how precious God's faithfulness and love is through her...so pray for abby! oh and enjoy the pics...take a minute of your day to not take life so seriously...its just a day...smile!
ok...so go ahead and get it out...yes that is me...and yes i am on the toilet...hahaha so, my freshman year of college before my spring finals, my grandmother, great aunt, and aunt sent me good luck messages through email...this is what i got! hahaha a pic of me as a small child on the toilet with my doll looking ever so serious with the message...concentrate! hahaha i love them!
so here are the three lovely ladies who sent the pic of me on the toilet...the one with the paper towels wrapped around her head is my great aunt jerry (fyi-i guess when you are older, since you only go to the beauty shope once a week, the toilet paper keeps your do in place hahaha), the one sitting with glasses is my memaw, and the one with black hair is my aunt debbie. they are holding a sign that says "good luck julia rea!" how precious and what a nice relief your freshman year during finals...hahaha oh and p.s....they were so proud they figured out how to send pics and i must say i was very proud myself! what an amazing family!
so yeah, this is just me and my roommate...i am not totally sure what we are doing here...but it makes me laugh every time...i think we were climbing to reach the camera...even though the camera was positioned on the bar in the kitchen...hahaha oh my
so anyone who knows me, knows i love guitar hero more than most things in life! it is an unhealthy love but i just can't deny it! hahaha you know when you find something in life that makes you feel like a rockstar, then you have to love it! so here i am displaying my affection for my trusty guitar! rock on houston! hahaha
ok so this a pic of my oldest niece about a year ago...her mom sent it to me and it is by far one of my fav pics of all time...apparently she wanted to go swimming in her pjs...duh everyone's doing it! but not only do the goggles get me...she has on mismatched pjs...her diaper is poking out of the top of her pants, her hair is out of controla nd her hand and mouth positioning are so funny! hahaha isn't she just so cute?
this is not so much of a funny pic...i mean you could laugh i guess...its a typical pic of my two nieces that i just wanted to share...they have my heart and know it and i love them more than anything...who knew that you could love two little beings so very much! so...here's presenting the most precious girls in the world...the smartest and most beautiful girls ever...ada grace (the princess in yellow) and ainsless anne (sleeping beauty)...remember those faces...they are gonna be big stars one day!
